CommScope's SYSTIMAX® GigaREACH™ XL is the first Category 6 UTP solution engineered to eliminate the 100-metre distance limit established by ANSI/TIA-568 and ISO 11801 — reliably extending Power over Ethernet well beyond conventional reach using just one cable, with little or no disruption to existing services. It requires no additional telecom rooms, PoE extenders or optical equipment, translating into fewer points of failure, lower installation costs and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

GigaREACH XL supports 100 Mbps Ethernet and 90W PoE up to 200 metres, 1 Gbps Ethernet and 90W PoE up to 150 metres (50% longer than Cat 6), and 10 Mbps Ethernet and 90W PoE up to 250 metres — while cutting DC resistance per metre in half versus standard Category 6 cables. Built on patented SYSTIMAX Category 6A design features and backed by the SYSTIMAX Application Assurance program, it is the cost-effective way to power and connect edge devices such as security cameras, access control panels and wireless access points.
